Good bright, sunny, and chilly morning! Suppose to be in the 70's today. woohoo! A few days ago we took the metal detector out. We went way out in the foothills around Florence. We started out on a real good two lane dirt road and ended up on a one lane road going through a box canyon. In fact, the road was called Box Canyon Road. We sure found out why. We came across two big rocks that we couldn't squeeze in between because the truck is too big. We couldn't go around as the walls of the canyon were right up against the rocks. We couldn't go over them because they were BIG rocks. That was the end of our exploring on that road. And, we were less than 3 miles to the next dirt road that would have taken us about 12 miles back to the highway. There were alot of people on quads/atv's out there riding around. They just went past us and went right on in between the big rocks. We must have looked a sight trying to turn around. Dan did it almost inch by inch. We blocked the one lane road when turning around. hahahahaha........It was an adventure. The country side was pretty and it was a fun ride. We didn't find any treasures, but thats ok. Exploring is fun!..........Yesterday Dan watched the Super Bowl. I watched the commercials and half-time. Best part of football is the half-time! ha!
