Bonehead's Traveling People

I love this picture of Bonehead that I took yesterday. She knew that we were getting ready to go somewhere and she was pouting. "If I hide part of my head and close my eyes and ignore them, I can MAYBE forgive them for going somewhere". She was not talking to either one of us. We were just gonna go fuel up the truck and ended up going for a ride. As we already had the metal detector in the truck, we went into the foothills by Quartzsite. Dan had been to this place before with neighbor Jim. We played with the detector, explored, and took pictures. It was a really nice place. We only seen two trucks out on the one lane dirt road, but it seems to be a favorite spot for all the people with quads/ATVs. It was also a very nice day. We started out with jackets on and ended up in shirt sleeves. I'm guessing it was about 65 out with a slight wind. Just enough to still notice a chill in the air.........Bonehead was ready to go outside when we got home. I took a picture of her "sunning" herself under her favorite desert bush. Shes real good about just sticking around the 5th wheel. Under her bush or laying on the mat outside the door while we are doing other stuff while watching her out of the corners of our eyes. I sure don't want her to get a notion into her head to wander off! Last night I heard a bunch of coyotes yipping. Not too sure what they were doing, but they just weren't howling at the moon. Sounded more to me like they caught something and were having an argument about who it belonged too!........Today is "getting ready for travel day", which is tomorrow. Today will be filled with "house" chores. Bonehead will not like this as she knows something is happening. She'll probably go hide in the loft. We both will share chores today, IE, getting propane, running the vacuum, dusting, shaking out all the throw rugs, etc. Then tomorrow we'll be off for Florence, AZ. Not too far away.
