Hello from Hurricane, Utah!!!!!!!!!!! Yesterday at the big race was just plain crazy and noisy! Before we left to catch the shuttle bus, Dan took some pictures from the top of the 5th wheel. This huge parking lot that we were camped in was FULL! And, it was very dusty.

There were soooooooooooooooooooooooooo many people there, I just couldn't believe it! Dan sat and watched the drivers out on the track and I went to look at the vendors.

Have any of you ever heard of the Blue Man group? They are so different and they performed before the race started. Very strange group. I got some good shots of Kasey Kahne coming around turn 4 at the start of the race. He was number one on the pole, so he was leading the pack at the beginning. His car is #9 and has the McDonald's "M" on the hood.

Kasey hit the wall towards the end of the race. Check out his car. Crunch! I felt bad for him. He would have at least come in 7th.

After the race was over, the Legends cars raced on a 1/4 mile track right down on the big track in front of us. These cars are so cute. Little cars with big v-8 engines.

Because we stayed to watch the little cars, we had to do the long walk back to the 5th wheel. The shuttle had stopped running. It was one, long dusty walk that I'm glad we don't have to do again. We had a great time during the days that we were there, but I'm not too sure if we'll go again. Maybe. We'll see. We were ALL glad to leave the race track. Bonehead was miserable there. Way too many people and cars to even let her out unless we were right beside her. Too many noises to spook her. And then the jets would go over us from the air base. She was not a very happy traveler today. I think she was taking it out on us for putting her through the race track experience. hahahahahahaha. Check out how dusty it was just getting out of the parking lot!

.........Shes happy here in her new home for the next 7 days. We are now at Sand Hollow State Park in Hurricane, Utah. Soon as we got here and set up, Dan had to take the quad out in the sand dunes. I didn't take the camera, but will next time. If we don't get caught. We're in the park and we did a "no-no" and rode the quad in the park to get to the dunes. Oops! Not suppose to do that. I'm almost positive that I didn't see the sign saying that when we passed it. hahahaha.....I'm sure they'll say something to us. Then we'll just put it away and go explore in the truck and on the bike. We have a nice spot with a view of the desert and dunes. Lots of room for Miss Bonehead to roam around.
