NEVER go out on your quad, in the sand dunes, when the wind is blowing sand all over, and wearing chapstick on your sunburned lips!!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I licked my lips and tasted Utah red sand!!!!!!!!!! YUK! We managed to go out three times before the Sheriff/park ranger guy stopped us and told us not to ride in the park. Now the quad is sitting here doing nothing. We might rent something from U-Haul to trailer it to the riding area. Anyway, the three times we took it out, we had a blast! The first couple of times I didn't take the camera. Yesterday I put the camera in a plastic bag, then wrapped it in a towel, and we strapped our harley day bag on the front of the quad, put in the camera and something to drink and away we went. We played around in the red sand dunes for awhile, then we went exploring all around the Utah's red rocks. I like doing that better then climbing sand dunes. Just check out some of the pictures I took. The camera doesn't do the scenery any justice. Its much prettier in person.

These next two pictures are kinda cool. I zoomed in and took a picture of a ledge where we would be going. It was pretty high up. Then I took a picture of Dan standing out on the very edge of the ledge when we finally weaved our way over to it on all the little quad roads.

We think the next two pictures are rather neat. Looks like some kind of rock monster, smiling and showing his teeth, you can see one ear and one eye. Dan climbed inside his mouth! Glad this guy didn't make a pebble out of Dan! hahahahahahahahaha

Just a couple more scenery pictures and a picture of the tunnel we went though taking us to the sand dunes and back to the park.

We were covered with red dust from head to toe when we finally got home. I'm gonna have to buy some goggles to fit over my glasses cause the sand just goes right into my eyes. I might look funny with goggles over glasses, but my eyes will be much happier! We cleaned up and let Bonehead outside for awhile. We just sit and watch her from lawn chairs. She can roam and we don't have to worry about her. I took a couple of pictures of her down from the 5th wheel at the picnic table. I think that she likes the freedom of not having us "hover" over her all the time.

Just taking it easy at the door to our home. Happy to be out in the warm sun and fresh air.
