Yesterday, 3/15, we got on the Harley and drove to Zion Park. It was a beautiful day and was about 84 degrees. We had been to Zion back in 2002 when we were out on a bike trip that lasted one month. We've always wanted to go back. Its a very pretty place. Seeing as it isn't really tourist season yet, we got to go where shuttle buses usually take you. Cool. The place I liked the best was the Weeping Rock. I'm gonna just put some pictures on here and by looking at them, you'll know it was a neat place. We were at a scenic overlook and there was a bunch of young Japanese taking pictures. This one girl (she must have been about 17)approached Dan and indicated that she wanted her picture taken with him and the bike. She spoke NO English. Her and Dan were gesturing to each other and he asked her if she wanted to sit on the bike. She giggled, understood him, and he helped her onto the bike. She just giggled and giggled and giggled. Then Dan stepped back. "No Dan. She wants you in the picture too", I said. She was too excited. He stepped back up to the bike and posed with her. I sure wish I would have taken a picture of that too. It was too cute and she was so excited! It was a good day. The rest of the pictures are just odds and ends. Our home, Bonehead chasing bugs, Bonehead being lazy (she had jumped up into the truck), Dan being lazy, and the quad on the trailer we rented. We found a local equipment rental place. LOTS cheaper than U-Haul!
