Hello from "our spot" in the desert! We're at La Poza North (BLM land) "dry camping" in Quartzsite, Arizona. Its fun to come back to the same spot and see the DW (for Dan Waller) that I made with bigger rocks. "Staking our claim". hahahahahahaha........We'll be here until Nov 8th just hanging out and riding the quad all around the BLM. LOTS of place to ride on the quad. I'm beginning to feel really bad about the poor Harley sitting in the garage all the time. We'll have to have some "Harley time" after we leave here. Bonehead likes it here. This is the third time she can go outside by herself during the day. She stays by the 5th wheel and we check on her all the time. Her and Dan go for long walks in the desert at night. She LOVES that. She chases all the little desert critters. It bothers me sometimes because you can hear coyotes off in the distance, but I'm sure she'll be ok as Dan is always right with her with his flashlight. Its been in the mid to high 90's since we been here. (We arrived Nov 25th). On Friday we seen the smoke from the CA fires drifting over the mountains. Sometimes we could smell it. Very sad..........Today is "watch the NASCAR races" day and I'm gonna go do laundry in town. Kind of a lazy day. We have several day trips planned going out on the quad and a couple planned going in the truck. Then we're off to meet my cousin Lynn in Buckeye, AZ so we can all attend the NASCAR races...........Heres a few pictures I've taken so far.
