Wednesday the 16th. Off to Bellingham, WA. On the way we stopped by to see Dan's daughter Audrey and the grands for a little while and then we were off again up I-5.Dan and grand Tiffany....daughter Audrey and grand Nicholas We'll be staying in Dan's mom's room at the assisted living place she lives in. I should have taken a picture of her but I didn't. Next time. We took her out today to run some errands and when we were in Fred Meyer I heard my name being called. "Patricia". Only one person calls me Patricia instead of Patty. Thats my birth dad, John. He just happened to see us in the store. That was quite a surprise. After we left the store and after lunch, we went to visit with him and his wife Susan. Susan, Dad John, Patty......... That was cool. We met up with them again for dinner. Also meeting us was my sister Peggy, her husband Dennis, and my niece Annalisa. We all went to Applebees. It was fun seeing Peggy and her family. I don't get to see any of them very much. Here is a picture of us.John,Susan, sister Peggy, niece Annalisa,Peggys hubby Dennis,Patty.......... Tomorrow, Friday July 18th is Christine and Michael's birthday! WOOHOO! Happy Birthday to you both again! Love you both! And, its also the day we will be meeting Kittie/Bruce and Dennis/Sandy to see the Red Elvises. WOOHOO! Its gonna be a blast and I can't wait. Its gonna be crowded cause they are so popular, but I'll try to get some pictures of them performing on stage..........Friday the 18th. We are staying at the Silver Reef Casino and Hotel. We have a really nice room on the 5th floor with a neat view. There isn't a small fridge in the room so we could keep Dan's ice packs cold, but we found a housekeeper in the hallway and she was nice enough to give us extra ice bucket bags so we were able to fill two of them up and wrap his ankle before we went out. Kittie and Bruce arrived soon after us and then Dennis and Sandy came over. Sandy and Kittie......... It was way cool to see them all again and in a different setting. I love how we can all meet up in different places. I think we had planned this since last January. We ate here at the casino and then ventured out to see the Red Evlises.I absolutely love them and I could be a groupie! ha! They showed up and we said our hellos to Igor and Oleg. I love their music. We all sat at the bar as all the tables had been removed for "standing room only". Here are a few pics that I took.Oleg and the big guitarIgor singing "Blue Moon" especially for us.....How cool is that?............ Saturday the 19th Dennis and Sandy came to the casino and we all ate breakfast together. Then we all piled into Dennis' truck and him and Sandy took all of us on a tour of old town Bellingham, Fairhaven, and a nice ride to see some of the surrounding area. Kittie and Bruce loved it. Dan and I had been out on the motorcycle on some of the roads off and on over the years. We all went back to Dennis and Sandy's house for a most wonderful meal and good conversation. They have a beautiful yard and I took pictures of some of the pretty flowers. Sandy loves her plants and flowers. We all had a great time there. Dennis, Dan, and BruceView of Mt. Baker from Dennis and Sandy's yard............ Sunday the 20th Dennis and Sandy came back to the casino again to have breakfast with us and Kittie and Bruce.Dennis and Dan with a neat car outside the casino.............. We said our goodbyes and were off south on I-5. Bruce and Kittie followed us for awhile and then we parted ways. Us to catch the ferry boat home and they kept heading south to the Seatac airport. We had to wait in line for 2 ferry runs before we could get on. loading onto the ferry boat.......... Kittie is flying to Dallas for a few days and Bruce will continue on home to Bandon, Oregon. Dan and I had a great time and I think everyone else did too...............Now we're back home again to everyday normal life. Thats ok though. We are taking care of all our doctor appointments and working on getting our 5th wheel FINALLY HOPEFULLY fixed. Time will tell about that. We're having major problems with the dealer, the manufacturer of our rig, and the people who made the axles. Its like a three way circus with no communication between any of them. And, of course, not one of them call us as each and everyone of them say they will. Any of you who have followed my blog will know that our problem started in the Spring of 2007 and its been on going.
