Since I last wrote we have been to Bellingham, WA visiting with Dan's mom.
We finally know the day we are leaving Bremerton. Leaving for McMinnville, Oregon on 9/29 to get the warranty work done on our 5th wheel. Then we'll head to the Southwest. I sure hope everything goes ok with getting our rig finally fixed. Anyway, we went north to Bellingham to see Dan's mom, Mary, for a few days before we leave. Dan's daughter Audrey and grands Nicholas and Tiffany came to see us when we were there to say their goodbyes to us and to see grandma/great-grandma.
We all went to the mall so Mary could sell all her old dental gold. She got some extra pocket money for doing that. We had a good time.
Dan's mom is always sad to see us leave but she seemed to handle it ok this time........Now we are back home with a lot to do before we leave. My youngest sister, Karen, will be here this Tuesday for a week so I'll get to see her. She lives in Illinois. We have a family BBQ planned this coming Saturday so most of the family will get to see Karen. We've ordered new tires for our rig and Dan and my son Jason will be putting them on this week. One of our biggest problems with our 5th wheel is the tires wearing so badly. We have alot to do this week with getting ready for travel. It seemed like our time here was rather long as we pretty well stayed home most of the time, so it will be nice to be out on the road again.
