Nice view of our home in the desert
Hi everyone! Today is Sunday,11/30. Not very long until we start a new year again! I've been writing on this for a couple of days. Not writing very much. Mostly pictures. Thanksgiving was WONDERFUL!!!!! Lots of good food and sharing with nice people.
The weather was good enough to eat outside. I've never seen Dan eat so much! It was a good day. We're hoping that everyone back home had a good Thanksgiving and that they really REALLY missed not having my fudge! (just kidding)hahahaha......Friday,11/28, Dan and I were off to Algodonas to the dentist again. We were gonna stay the night in Yuma again, but we finished up with the dentist in record time, got out of Mexico, did some shopping in Yuma, and just came back home. Hes doing ok so far. Having teeth pulled is always nasty...Saturday,11/29, Dan was getting cabin fever laying around nursing his sore mouth, so we went out on the quad for a ride to Apache Cabin out in the desert. He said that he could just as well recoup on the quad as good as he could on the sofa. So be it. Found two geocaches near the cabin.
It was a nice almost 4 hour ride and the weather was great. Because of the rain we seen that some of the cactus had some little flowers thinking about blooming. That was neat to see. I should have taken a picture of that, but.......When we got back we both cleaned up and headed for Silly Al's Pizza place. Our pals Pat and Carol were celebrating their birthdays. We had a good time. I never laughed so hard for a long time at a few of people we were with, Jim from CA, Canadian Diane, and Jerry from CA. Between the slap to the forehead "could have had a V-8", a straw, off color jokes, the bantering back and forth, and just plain goofiness, I was laughing until I was crying. Just a bunch of old farts having a good time, and I say "old farts" with lots of love and they know it! Dan and I left before some of the others did. His mouth was bothering him and it was time to go home to peace and quiet.
