Monday, 1/19...........Dan and I took another couple out for a quad ride today. I had met Jim online when he contacted me via email asking about cell phone service here in Quartzsite. Him and his wife Peggy hadn't been to the "Q" for several years and needed to know if cell service had improved. We exchanged a few emails and when they arrived here from North Carolina, we were able to meet up. We drove out to Dripping Springs and the Apache Cabin. It was alot of fun and these are two very nice people. I'm so glad we met up.
We always love the ride to Dripping Springs no matter which way we go and I think they both liked it too. There were alot of people out on the quad roads today. Quads, dirt bikes, and jeeps. Just way too many people for our liking. Apache Cabin had tons of people there and the parking area looked like a used jeep lot. 
We didn't stay there very long. When we arrived at Dripping Springs, no one was there. YES! We had a little while to ourselves before the quads and jeeps caught up with us. We left the Springs and was soon off the main trails and on small quad trails. That was most excellent as we didn't run into anymore people or vehicles. Even with all the people out and about in the desert, it was a fun day. The desert is so green and we now see grass growing under the trees and cactus. Here are several scenery pictures that I took. My favorite thing to do. The very last picture is the view of Quartzsite from where we were up in the hills.
