Since I last wrote we took our rig to Zieman. They are steel fabricators. We had an appointment with them on Monday, 5/11. We got there at 8am ready to drop our rig off for the day. We were told that they were short handed and that one of the work areas was having problems and they had to work on that. Ok. We went back to the RV park and chilled for the day. Got up the next morning, yesterday Tuesday, and took the rig back in again. This time they kept it and did the work on it. We've had mass problems with the underside of our 5th wheel since we bought it. Now, finally, Dan seems to be satisfied with the repair done on it. It would take too long to explain everything that we've gone through with our 5th wheel unless you've followed the blog or if you've talked to Dan in person. At this moment he is pleased with the "fixing of Dan and Patty's 5th wheel" job. We'll know more when we "hit the road" again and see how the 5th wheel rides. Anyway, while they had our home Dan and I had a whole day to kill. We went to some stores and looked around and I got my latte at Starbucks. We had already gone to the air museum last time we were here in McMinnville to look at all the neat air stuff, so didn't do that again, but we did go into the air museum's cafe to eat some lunch. Last time we were there they served the most fantastic meatball sandwich and we wanted to go have that again. Needless to say, the cafe had changed hands and they no longer served that sandwich. Oh sigh. We told them that was the main reason we had come back to the museum. We tried their reuben sandwich and it was good, but not as good as the meatball sandwich. Ok. I'm done whining about not getting the meatball sandwich. hahahahaha. After that we went out looking for a couple of geocaches. Dan wanted to find a place to lay down and chill, so we came back to the RV park and hung out in the lounge. Dan dozed and I used their WiFi to get on my laptop and play around. Just an easy day. Soon it was time to pick up our home. Here are a few pictures of the forklift moving our rig around so we could hook up to it. It was interesting to watch the way they moved it around. Its been raining all day today. The robins are going crazy out in the wet grass pulling up earthworms for lunch. They love this rain! We'll be here at the RV park until Friday, 5/15. Then we'll head back home. We'll stop in Maple Valley, WA to visit with Dan's mom, then head to Bremerton to park in my mom's yard for the summer.
