Since I last wrote, we've been having some nice weather. Not real hot and not chilly. Good enough to use the barbie one night for pork ribs. Dan and I picked blackberries in mom's back yard. We picked enough for a cobbler and muffins. I guess the cobbler turned out ok cause it sure disappeared fast! Dan has been to a VA appointment here in Bremerton. I don't think he was real pleased with his visit. The doctor hes had all along, is no longer there, so he was stuck with a substitute doc. I'm sure he'll get a regular doctor eventually. You know how the government is. SLOW SLOW SLOW with EVERYTHING! Who knows? Our mighty president might have cut back on the VA docs too!!!!!!!!!!! After his appointment we ventured into Silverdale to Sears so I could get the frames of my glasses straightened and get a price check on new prescription sun glasses. I wear sun glasses alot when we're in Arizona and I need them for driving. I might wait until we go back to Mexico for Dan's checkup with the dentist. I haven't decided yet. Sears is having a good deal right now, so I just might go back there. Then we ventured into Toys-r-Us to get Dan's grand, Nicholas, a birthday present. We'll be going to his birthday party in another couple of days, spend the night near where he lives at the Marriott, then go the next day to pick Dan's mom up at the airport. Shes coming back from her visit in Kansas. Gonna be kind of a busy weekend for sure!........Well, now I'm sure you're all totally bored with "Dan and Patty's life" for the last few days. Just everyday stuff. Dan did start up the generator. That was on his "to do" list before we leave here to make sure it was OK after sitting for a long time. He also put the Harley back in storage. Sounds like it won't be coming with us this next trip back to Quartzsite. His bike, his choice........Anyway, thats whats up with us.
