Man, oh man! I sure did mix my dates up. I was a day ahead of myself, so if you read the last blog entry, just back everything up a day.I guess these things happen when ya turn 60. So this is what happened on Wednesday, 9/23 and Thursday, 9/24. 9/23 we headed to Seattle for Dan's VA appointment in the late afternoon, Got that taken care of so we headed to the Comfort Inn, checked in, headed to Audrey's house to drop off some ground antelope and some homemade salsa, then headed back to the motel for the night. 9/24 we spent the day with Dan's youngest daughter, Audrey and her kids, Caleb/Nicholas/Tiffany. It was a good day. Audrey made some antelope chili in her slow cooker and it sure was good! Yummy! We just hung out at her house all day until Caleb got home from school. After eating that wonderful chili, we all headed to our motel so they all could go swimming in the pool and sit in the hot tub. They all had a blast. Dan had a good time playing in the water with the kids. Of course I took alot of pictures and put them on here. In fact, I snapped pictures until my camera batteries went dead. Tiffany LOVED the pool! She showed no fear at all for the water. It was a most excellent visit. ________________________________________ Tiffany wearing her new glasses Nicholas Tiffany Tiffany, Audrey, Dan the man Caleb playing Farm Town on Facebook Dan, Nicholas, Audrey. My camera battery went dead right after I took this picture. ________________________________________ Yesterday, Friday 9/25, we checked out of the motel and headed to see Dan's mom. She was playing bingo at a local community center so we showed up there and played bingo too. I got to yell "bingo" playing "the block of nine" and won $3.30 in dimes. Woohoo! I just gave Dan's mom a hand full of dimes for her next couple of bingo excursions. This is not a big bingo hall. Just a quarter a card then pay a dime a game. Something fun for the seniors that like bingo. It was fun. Then we headed to Dairy Queen for lunch before taking her back to her place. Headed back home before rush hour traffic started. My sister had an MRI and is awaiting the test results. I just know it will be all good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you so much to the "well wishers" for Christine. Its very much appreciated. ________________________________________ Today Dan washed the outside of our 5th wheel and watched the NASCAR race. I ran some errands then went to a memorial for my friend Chris. Him, his wife Lila, and their two boys lived by me for a long, long time. He was only 46 and had a grand mal seizure. It was sad. Chris was always a cool guy. I'll miss him.
