Well, September 12th was Grandparents Day. The assisted living place, Fountain Court, where Dan's mom Mary lives, had an ice cream social that day. We went to it surprising her. Dan's niece Sheri and her family came. And, Dan's daughter Tammy and grand Ryan also came. It was a nice gathering. I think she was quite pleased. Some of the residents had posters up on the hallway walls of themselves when they were young and pictures of their sons/daughters/grands/great-grands. Interesting. Here are a few pictures that I took. Heres the group that showed up for ice cream and visiting. Back row......Tuan(Sheri's husband)....Dan....Dan's daughter Tammy....Dan's niece Sheri....Dan's great-nephew Tyce....Dan's mom Mary Front row.....Dan's grand Ryan and great-nephew Caino Mary and Dan eating ice cream Dan, Mary, Sheri, and Tuan looking at Mary's pictures on the wall Uncle Dan and niece Sheri Dan's grandson Ryan. Hes a character. Check out these pictures of this silly crow. There are alot of crows around here and this one was just too funny. They are always landing on top of our rig and we can hear them "thump thump thumping" around up there. Well, this crow found his reflection in the window when he landed on one of the slide-outs on our rig. He kept tapping the window with his beak. Then he walked back and forth along the window looking at himself. Then he would press his head against the window. He was just too funny. I'm hoping he will tell his crow pals about seeing himself in the window and maybe I'll capture a "Kodak moment" of them all lined up looking at themselves. A couple of times it almost looked like this crow was "preening". "Gee, look at me". "I sure am a good looking crow". haha. Wish the pictures would have turned out better......Anyway, it was funny. Dan and I went to the VA in Seattle today to pick up his new hearing aids. WOOHOO! New is good. His other ones were over 5 years old. We had to catch a 6:20am ferry and it was FOGGY!!!!!!!!!!!!! And chilly. Waiting patiently for when we leave for warmer weather..........Dan is outside pressure washing our quad so we can load it into the garage. Getting it all clean for travel.
