Dan is back from seeing his daughter and grands. He had a good time seeing them and hanging out. And 9/11 has passed again. What a very sad time that was........The sun has decided not to "grace itself with it's presence" the last couple of days. The good ol clouds are back. I picked blackberries yesterday because they still looked happy on the vine. Froze two bags. Bella was having a problem yesterday while I was picking berries. She ended up vomiting 6 times and was running a 104.5 fever. Thats high for a cat. We got her into the vet and she had some sort of gas pocket that was blocking something inside her. We're almost positive that she didn't swallow a small cat toy or a piece of string. But when shes outside, and even though we watch her, I'm sure we don't see everything she puts in her mouth. I don't understand it all but Dan and I could see the gas pocket on the xray. The vet gave her a couple of shots, antibiotic and another steroid type shot, (we trust this guy completely as he took care of Bonehead too), and gave he an "under the skin" IV drip. She was kind of dehydrated. She ended up with an pocket of fluid under her skin and then I guess she absorbed the fluid into her body. It was interesting and didn't bother her a bit. Her fever came down last night and is still good this morning. Shes moving around more like her normal self this morning and is "asking" to go outside. Dan will take her out for some fresh air in awhile. Last night all she did was sleep. We both think that she'll be ok. Anyway, thats the Bella story. Tomorrow we start the Christine story. My sister is having her thyroid taken out. And, so life goes on........We intend to leave Bremerton in two weeks. We'll see how Christine does in recovering. Then off we go to Las Vegas so Dan can "work" the Nascar truck series race and the first Indy 500 to be in Vegas.
