HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my son JASON!!! -------------------------------------- Its hard to believe that its September 1st!!!! Did we ever have summer here in Bremerton, WA??????? I'm thinking not. We've only done two pickings of blackberries and there are so many ready to ripen if only the sun would stay out long enough. I finally picked some tomatoes and they were quite yummy, but there are so many green ones waiting to ripen. If the it would be sunny for several days in a row, everything would ripen! Other then waiting for the sun to stay out, we've kept busy. I had the last doctor appt, the eye doctor, so no more doctors this summer. Our 5th wheel now has two new tires. Replacements, under warranty, for the ones that fell apart when we were on the road. Dan has managed to wash the 5th wheel. It looks so much cleaner. Now he has to buff the front so the bugs won't stick so bad. The screens have been washed. No more desert dust.......And I started writing on this a couple of days ago and guess what? We are suppose to have sunny days for the next 6 to 7 days! WOOHOO!!!!!!!! Blackberries will be picked. This is Labor Day weekend and the Blackberry Festival is happening in downtown Bremerton. We might go walk around the Bremerton boardwalk and check things out. Yesterday we moved our washer/dryer combo out of our garage and into our storage unit. I wasn't using the washer/dryer that much. Its so small and is mostly only good for dish towels, underwear, etc. So, its gone now and I intend to put get a light weight plastic storage thingy to store cat food, etc. Working on that. The garage will have more empty space now. Dan changed the oil in the truck yesterday too. Our "to do" list for getting road ready is starting to dwindle.............
