It has been quite chilly here in Quartzsite. At least I think so anyway. We've been using the portable propane heater at night again. The sky has been overcast most of the time for about a week and it is just depressing. I know its not as chilly as other parts of the country, but I'm here and not there, so its chilly chilly chilly. Bella doesn't mind it being chilly. She isn't overly fond of being out in the sun for very long, so shes taking advantage of the weather. Other then it not being real warm, we're on the countdown for leaving here. The "Big Tent" is gone and so are a whole lot of the people that here just to check it out. Now people are just here for all the vendors that will be around for another couple of months or so. Seeing as we're not coming back here after the NASCAR race up in Vegas, we won't be around to see Quartzsite turn back into a tiny small population town again.
Seeing as its not too warm out the last few days, the lizards seem to be staying "home". So Bella has been doing a lot playing hide and seek with us and tree climbing. She loves climbing up up up and then sometimes jumping down into our arms.
This was the sunset last night, Wednesday 2/5. Check out the chem trails. Kind of strange looking. There was some blue sky yesterday. Some.
I dread leaving here. Its so peaceful. Wishing we could buy some land in or around this area. Maybe from Quartzsite up to Laughlin, NV. Nice dream and a lot of wishful thinking.
