Just another day

I've been real slack in writing on the blog. Just don't have much to write about. I guess I could say that the days are getting shorter and when that sun goes down, its getting chilly. No more blueberries to pick and we maybe have one more blackberry picking. All the squirrels that live around my Mom's house are stocking up for the winter, along with eating some peanuts too. They are fun to watch and are not afraid of Bella..........I do have some bad news. We took our truck to a local Ford dealership to get the tranny worked on. We've had a leak for quite awhile now and it was time to get it fixed. Well, crap oh dear, we have to buy a new transmission! Our tranny had metal particles in the oil cooler. GRRRRR! Sure, we can just shake the money tree or pull it out of our you know where and buy a new tranny. And life will go with us being a lot poorer. Crap happens and ya just deal with it I suppose. Anyway, hoping we get the truck back soon..........Today its nice out and will be a good day for Bella to run and play. She so loves going outside and would be an outdoor cat if we let her.
Some of the squirrels in the yard are very tame. This is one of them. He comes right up to the chair and sits up and stares at ya until he gets his peanut. He decided to chow down and not go bury it. Bella was just watching him. We can recognize this little guy because of the brown markings by his mouth. Hes very friendly and always comes right up to us even though Bella had given chase to him.
