1/7/15 getting warmer

How can you not love this face????!!!! She was sound asleep when I took the pictures. She didn't even bat an eyelash when the flash went off 4 times. She just looked too funny. She LOVES her new perch. She is up much higher. Closer to the ceiling when a bug comes inside and with the warmer weather, some of the bugs do get inside sometimes. Then Bella is on "bug alert" and looks for a tasty morsel like a flying ant. LOL LOL

The weather is getting warmer during the daytime so I decided to put my flamingo in a light jacket and dress her up in some pretty beads. With all the people coming into town with their quads, I'm hoping they will respect my sign. We are parked at the end of the road and the beginning of a quad trail that some people know about and use. We'll see.

Lots of people are starting to arrive in Quartzsite for all the shows that go on here. Standing in front of our rig, the BIG TENT is exactly 1 1/2 miles from our door. I used two different zoom lens to take these four pictures. The closer you get to the tent, the more people there are camped close to it. We prefer to stay out here far away. One time works for me. I can collect all the free stuff. Free is always good. Parking is at a premium with people even parking in the dry wash getting stuck in the soft gravel. We'll use the quad and won't have a problem finding a place to park.
